Control arm bushing deflection - Miatas too?

Iíve been following an issue with Corvettes regarding deflection of the rear control arm bushings that affects suspension geometry. Iím wondering, has this ever been an issue with Miatas?

    Yes.

Not so noticeable in acceleration, but more in cornering where you would feel the deflection through the steering wheel and sometimes the rear through the seat. If you are thinking of monoball or spherical bushings for a street car, I would think long and hard about that. Great for the track, lousy for the street.

Deflection occurs in all suspensions that use bushings. You should see what some cars do when deflection ranges out of spec. BMWs do all kinds of funky, weird stuff for example.
