    wheels

I'm trying to find a 16" x 8" wheel with something like a 40 to 50mm offset. I can find lots of 16 x 7.5" but none that are 8". Does anybody know of a supplier or a wheel distributor I might contact?

    Re: wheels

Found a few on Goodwin Racing but they are 8" for the 1990 -2005 4-bolt pattern wheel. They have over a hundred wheels listed but only 4 or 5 16" wheels with a 5-bolt pattern but are only 7" wide. Oodles of stuff for NA's and NB's but not much for NC's.

If you have 13', 14', 15', or 17" wheels they got it, but 16, nothing.

If they don't have it they don't make it.

    Re: wheels

The offset may be an issue, most of the aftermarket guys go for 25/30 offset.

    Re: wheels

They spec race these (NB) so what wheels do they use, stock?

    Re: wheels

If I'm not mistaken, NB's have only 4 lugs, NC's have 5. I'm not sure what the rules are in Spec Miata as far as wheels go.

    Re: wheels

My point is, and I know they are 5 lug, what do they use on NC spec MX5's since the selection for 16" wheels are so limited?

    Re: wheels

Spec Miata is a 4 lug 15x7 35 offset wheel.

NC's do not currently run in Spec Miata, they do run in the MX 5cup series and WC as well as Continental. Brian Goodwin will have the answers for sure !

    Re: wheels

Yata, do you mean classes within the SCCA (and there are too many)? Or classes as in too many race sanctioning groups like SCCA, Cintiental Challenge, World Challenge, Tutor GT, FIA GT3...???

    Or both? LOL!

    Re: wheels

I looked around and I couldn't find any 8'' wheels. This is one from Tire Rack. It's a 7.5'' It seems reasonably light at 17 lbs.
