Remember that 17mm flare wrench I bought for the power steering line? It came in a set which included a 10, 12, and 13mm flare wrench. So convenient.

Installed some soundproofing over my rear wheel wells accessed through the trunk forward panel. We will see how well it does on my road trip. Sorry, too lazy to take pictures.

Easy button for that is a couple of cheap foam pillows crammed into the voids.

I was not specific, but that's what I did and it made a difference.

I did that too and it did make a difference. Those rear wheel wells are a big source of noise and stuffing pillows into the “tunnels” is a cheap and easy fix. I later put two layers of Fatmat on the wheel wells and then memory foam pillows instead of poly-fill pillows.

Few weeks ago, long time friends at Jzilla and R*Speed gave me this.

The powdercoating on this R*Speed valve cover is really nice! The underside was clean as a whistle and had been blasted and cleaned. Swapping over the baffles from my previous one was a breeze. I had an extra set of acorn bolts laying around and added them in. I also added hood lifts, which I had been meaning to get around to, but it was just something that I would forget about until I had to work on the engine. IThis is usually one of the first things I do to my Miatas, so I'm about 2.5 years late on this.

My inner ricer and OCD are abated. VC matches the interior really well, and is a nice throwback to my original NA:

That’s looking good! I was a permanent fixture at my Ace Hardware up north. They had an incredible selection of stainless steel and chrome hardware because of the huge car enthusiast groups there.
