I have a 1.8 VVT in my '93, with right around 150whp, and 125wtq. Because I already had a lightweight flywheel and a newish clutch for my 1.6, I kept that setup. Turns out, the clutch was not strong enough. It holds fine for daily, but it's a little weak for pulling hard out of corners and autocross launches. Anybody have any experience running 1.6 clutches with similar or more torque? Hate to spend $300 to change flywheels.

Not experienced with the 1.6 flywheel but most guys that want less weight with that level of power will generally run the 1.6 flywheel and a heavy duty act or equal clutch.

ACT HD 1.6 clutches seem to be only available special order. They don't even list them on their website.
