    Reinforced Swaybar Mounts

    Hi,

I do owe a front tubular sway bar - 1.25" OD (3/16" wall) & brace kit from Racing Beat (Part Number: 54106),

... I?m thinking or considering in getting a pair of reinforced swaybar mounts, or make them.

    My question is:

. Do you think I still need to add the support blocks to it? (as shown, in pict. 1)
    - In my opinion, by having the reinforced mounts supports will not be required anymore, as long as the brace and sway bar are well screwed to the new chassis mount... right?

    What are your thoughts?

I had that same Racing Beat setup in the top photo. If you got the reinforced mounts in the bottom picture, you wouldn't need the blocks and bolts in the top photo.

If you are already running the reinforcement blocks, then I wouldn't change the sway bar mount.

They are tougher than you think - I have seen them survive some hard hits into walls and not get bent.
