    Horn issue

Anyone on here ever used an aftermarket hub or quick release setup? I'm currently running an NRG setup. Short hub, quick disco, and 320mm flat bottom wheel. Only real issue I'm coming across is the way the horn operates. Being that it's a quick disco, the clock spring mechanism is removed from the car. The horn operates via a large brass ring on the back of the hub, and the horn wire brushes against it to make contact. Twice now it's just went off, as if I was holding the horn down...of course at 2am. Anyone with experience or suggestions to a DIY or better alternative? Debating wiring the horn to a dash mounted button.

    Re: Horn issue

I had trouble with the Nardi button sticking. It was just a bad fit/design. Bought a new button that was stainless instead of plastic. Did a little fine tuning with a piece of sandpaper and haven't had any trouble since.
