    You put those Konis way after I put on my Bilsteins. They did not hold up well where my Bilsteins are still tight. Maybe because yours is a daily driver and driven during the Florida wet season.

    The Konis are cheap and I wouldn't recommend them now, after long term use. They still dampen ok, but the paint has come off in big chunks and they're rusting badly. My biggest issue is the sagged spring, not allowing me to get an accurate alignment due to the front of the car being crooked.

    I know you don’t want to spend much but I had a set of H&R lowering springs which I really liked. They’re inexpensive, firm up the ride and only a slight drop.

    H&R are good quality, but progressive rate springs do the funky chicken on these cars when you push them.

    I have come to dislike progressive rate springs on anything..... just terrible

    I have a set of MSM springs in a box that I ran when I did my first suspension upgrade. They were decent and I can see why mazda used that setup.
