That would be most appreciated, even critical at this point. If I can get the studs mounted, I can finish the rear end completely. Still need to add spacers to the front and rear Eibach sways to relieve the binding. I have some wiring left up front such as extra horn, HID fogs and fender turn signal but I can do that on my own.

Besides the studs, all I need for the upcoming tech day is to mitigate the exhaust pipes hitting the frame (might have to loosen the headers and tighten from back to front) and getting the beast off the stands after nearly a year.

Can’t wait to drive! Like MM said, I’m still paying on it. And I’m insuring it with full coverage. Why save it for the next guy?!

Still debating whether to start a new build thread or just amend this one. Nevertheless, I want to give a huge thanks to MinuteMan for helping me out on this one.

    Long story, short:

I got a new hub about a year ago which MM pressed in my extended studs into. Turns out, that assembly was for a ZR1 and not my base which meant undoing the entire project and reinserting my extended studs onto the proper hub assembly and then reinserting the stock studs into the hub I’m about to send back, on his own time. This was basically a tech day’s worth of effort he did in his garage on his own.

I’ve worked on cars all my life and didn’t even check to see if the hub fit which I feel stupid about. Apparently, there was a difference between a 33-spline and a slightly smaller 30-spline. Anyway, thanks to MM for doing, undoing and then redoing my Corvette hub on his own.

Finally wrapped up the rear end! Shimmed the sway bar so it’s no longer locked in place, new hub/bearing assembly, entended studs, 12mm spacer, new brake pads and rotors and final torque check for everything. Three corners done, one left to go.
