    Re: Flywheel lock tool

On my wish list, but will continue to search locally before ordering from Japan.

While researching the flywheel locking tool read that flywheel bolts should be used just once and be replaced when flywheels are removed. How many of you guys have done this?

No need for fancy tools, a wrench works great.

Good for you Scott, just when you think someone has invented a new tool, a diy GearHead has found an excellent use for a box end wrench.

Doesn't look like a Miata engine.

    Re: Flywheel lock tool

It's not my picture, I was just sharing how I tighten my flywheel.

Googling "flywheel lock wrench" seemed more efficient than pulling my transmission to take a picture.
