    Cars don't speed, people do.

I'll keep that in mind but another huge factor is paint color.red by far is most expensive, then it's flashy, shiny colors.

I find that the miata is the only car that i am content with going the speed limit, especially topless :)

I find I 'push' my driving a bit at times because I'm having fun just driving the car. But most of the time I'm happy to just be in the car and doing the speed limit. I tend to 'buzz' around corners faster, which isn't illegal, rather than speed in a straight line.

If I get the 236rwhp turbo Miata this weekend we'll see how I do! As I understand it, 236rwhp should be about 270hp at the motor. That means this car has less than 10lbs/hp. That puts it in with some pretty exotic company.

Can you tell I can't wait for Saturday? I just hope the car is as clean as I imagine and I don't find any issues that make me walk away from the deal. I already have the cashiers check for $15,500. made out!

I don't speed often though I do follow my own speed limits and not the ones posted ;)

One thing nice is that the car feels it's going faster than it is actually going with the top down. At times I do feel the need for speed. Just ask Yata about my record breaking trek across alligator alley a few years ago.

I've gotten a few tickets in miatas, but overall it seems less of a cop magnet than a lot of other cars I've had. I do think color is probably a bigger factor than make/model. Cops loved my yellow S2000.
