    Formula One ( eh........yuk)

    I'm watching a prerecorded P2 at Malaysia

    1) My Miata sounds much better at full song than these puppies ( of course my Miata would be like a WalMart shopper with a buggy compared to the F1 speeds )

    2) those cars looked absolutely like a fish out of water wallowing around those turns, ass ends forcing the cars off line and the ones that went off track got beached because their front ends are so high the rear just acts like an anchor or a plow.

    3) Give me IMSA TUDOR any day next to these overpriced twitchy azz cars

    4) wait till the Malaysian heat starts to cook those turbos half way through the race.

Even though I lost interest when Fiat dumped Sir ( he should be knighted by Germany )Michael F1 has gone done hill. I am going to watch this race,it should be fun to see just how many of these mutli gazillion dollar cars finish the race. Some teams haven't been able to get a full lap in. Gear box,and turbo problems with with heat. Calvin and David were chuckling about mechanics using high speed grinding to cut the carbon fibre shrouds to get more cooling are to the turbos.......so much for those million dollar air flor tunnel testing. It sounds like dentists at work ( too effing funny )

The new motors may have monster amounts of torque but once those turbos heat up the grunt goes away and the cars struggle mightly on apex exit. They rreally have a good idea but need to do many many many hours of reformulating or rethinking the turbos and their design.

They almost need to locate the damned tubos to the intake cowling above the drivers head and include an ice chest to pump water to the turbo. There is a need for this technology for all kinds of reasons, emissions, fuel saving, BUT they do need work.

Funny part is these cars still only get 3.5 miles per gallon.............. ...........refueling would go a long way to bring back strategies beside just the tire compond changes.

Speed is just a question of money - how fast can you go?

Don't get me started on NasCrap.

That shit is a leech that is killing motorsports in North America.

Nascar ? I watch that when I need a sleeping pill. EXCEPT when they run on road courses.

HOWEVER,they do run butts to bellybutton for 400 to 500 miles at 150 to 200 mph. Lets see an F1 car and driver do that. Don't forget when Jeff Gordon jumped into Pablo's F1 and produced lap times that would have put him on the front row of the grid the previous year at Indy.

IMSA/TUDOR..............v iva LeMans, now that's racing at its best. Test of men and their machines unlike any other form of motorsports

I watch as many as I can and don't forget the German touring car series. There is talk that with Nascar owning the IMSA series that they are considering bringing a couple of Aussi and Geman Torung races here in the next year or so. The IMSA guys pretty much said so when we had our Daytona corner workers meet and greet.

If they do and I'm close by (as in within a days drive), I'm there.

The British and Euro touring car action is a riot as well.
Ever check out Rally Cross ?? Short and sweet but a ton of action.
