    Scott's '94 R-package

I picked up a '94 R-package a couple days. The car has a few small dents, a bent fender, faded paint, and the AC is good for droping ambient temps by at least 3 degrees. I feel like I paid way too much for it but there just wasn't much selection locally, I was going nuts with no car, and I really liked the R-package options: torsen, no ABS, power NOTHING (steering, windows, locks, etc), and came with a hardtop. I picked it up bone stock, aside from having the muffler cut off, with 98,676 miles on it, for $4400.

For some reason the car photographs really well. When I went to see it I was a bit disappointed in the condition, as it looked immaculate in the pictures. Now I'm looking at my pictures and it's looking pretty decent. Definitely looks worse in person though. Hopefully I'll have some time tonight to give her a good wash and wax to bring the paint back a bit.

It does look good in the pics. Hows the interior?

The interior is really good, but the softtop is shot. I'm hoping to swap frames from my NB before they haul it away but I don't want to upset the insurance gods.

Im glad you got something to drive, even though it is an NA. I like the red, at least it isn't Blue.

Thought the r-package cars had mud flaps too? I'll trade you all 4 for your front lip! ;D lol

Looks good, and doesn't seem to bad of a price for a r w/hardtop unless you plan on selling that.

With pdexta's 99 10AE out, who's the new top banana? The 3 local supercharged cars are jester's, yata's and Dave B's. Need to take them over to our local private dragstrip to see who's top banana. Of course knowing Boris, he would show up with the Smurf hooked up to about 10,000 rubber bands for the ultimate holeshot.

If you look at Goethe's color theory you will find that Red is the opposite of Green. Even though you Green car lovers have some perverted hatred for Smurfs, you may be pleased to find Scott selected a color that is as far away from yours as possible. Kudos Scott!
