As Jay wrote, with the upgraded clutch, replace both at the same time going forward (master and slave).
Yeah, I usually have the mindset to do that but for some reason in this case I did not. Hey, nobody is perfect.

We use exedy at the shop on all the race cars. I see mixed results, but that might be driver dependent......

Re: Losing hydraulic clutch fluid.
Got what I thought was my new clutch master cylinder today. What I got was a new slave cylinder packed in the correct marked box and the correct part ordered. Ordered from Rock Auto and they are sending a replacement. Hope the manufacturer has not mis-boxed a whole run of these or maybe it was a botched previous return. Either way I have to wait a few more days for the correct part, I hope. I will give Rock Auto the benefit of the doubt.

Re: Losing hydraulic clutch fluid.
Just ordered an Exedy in case they send me another slave cylinder. If they got it right I will have a spare.

When I ordered my exedy slave, from rock auto, I got two. They were on sale and shipping was almost as much as one slave. Good to have a spare.

Re: Losing hydraulic clutch fluid.
So I shipped back the mis-boxed slave cylinder today and sent them the tracking info so they could ship me a replacement. Got an email last evening that they were out of stock on that master cylinder and would be refunding my money. Rock Auto is not as good as they come off being. Lucky I ordered an Exedy unit and it should be here today and I will be installing tomorrow.

Got my Exedy and it is a master cylinder. Made in Taiwan with a 12 month/12,000 Mike warranty.

Re: Losing hydraulic clutch fluid.
Installed my clutch master cylinder yesterday and the clutch seems to working perfectly. Will be keeping an eye on the reservoir until I know it is ok.

Re: Losing hydraulic clutch fluid.
First time doing a maintenance flush with the new stainless steel line. I used a brake bleeder and caught a few bubbles that were left over from the last installation. I readjusted the pedal travel so that it is back to stock spec. Firm, even travel. Clutch feels smooth again.
